Because end effectors come in various shapes and sizes, this refers to the working area without an end effector to accurately reflect the robot's characteristic parameters. The shape and size of the working range are crucial. A robot may be unable to complete a task due to a dead zone inaccessible to the end effector.
The working range of a robot manipulator is determined based on process requirements and the trajectory of the manipulator's movements. A manipulator's trajectory is often a combination of several actions. When determining the working range, the trajectory can be decomposed into individual actions, and the maximum stroke of the robot manipulator is determined by the stroke of each individual action. For ease of adjustment, the stroke value can be appropriately increased. Once the maximum stroke of each action is determined, the working range of the robot manipulator is fixed.
