The smart manufacturing production line is a process testing instrument under Mitsubishi Electric's e-f@ctory system, and was put into application in the mechanical engineering field on December 29, 2016. Using panda faces as the processing object, the system integrates the entire process of order generation, 3D printing, visual inspection, RFID registration, and logistics transportation. It supports customized sizes and quantities by clients, achieving unmanned production. Core hardware includes a vertical six-joint industrial robot, a Cosmax visual inspection module, and 3D printing equipment, with data management achieved through MES and ERP systems.
This production line is equipped with a human-machine interface (HMI) touchscreen, supporting training functions such as industrial robot programming, CNC machining, and PLC integration. Typical configurations include an automated material handling system, a CNC machining center, and an RFID material management system. Flexible manufacturing technology adapts to multi-variety production needs, relying on 5G-A technology to achieve wireless connectivity and remote real-time control of production line equipment, and is widely used in industrial development, teaching and research, and automotive parts and battery manufacturing.
