For consecutive years, my country has firmly maintained its position as the world's largest market for industrial robot applications. While the industry continues to set new records in terms of scale and volume, it has also achieved a qualitative leap in its overall development.
Despite this rapid growth, the industry remains dependent on imports for high-end components, operating systems, and virtual simulation platforms. Furthermore, in terms of user-friendliness and intelligence, domestic robot systems still fall short of user expectations; there is also a need to strengthen application experience in high-end sectors and to accumulate high-quality data.
The drive toward "intelligence" necessitates that manufacturing equipment possess capabilities such as self-adaptation and autonomous learning-a requirement that directly fuels immense market demand for smart robots. The push for "sustainability" requires the manufacturing sector to conserve energy and reduce consumption; industrial robots play a pivotal role in facilitating lean manufacturing, thereby minimizing material and energy waste. Finally, the trend of "integration" fosters the deep convergence of robotic technologies with cutting-edge innovations-such as large language models and embodied AI-while also demanding collaborative innovation between the robotics sector and industries like lithium-ion batteries and telecommunications. These developments create significant opportunities for enhancing robotic capabilities and establishing entirely new ecosystems for technological innovation.
Looking ahead, my country's industrial robots are poised to become even smarter and more user-friendly. Human-robot collaboration is set to become the norm, serving as a crucial pillar in fostering "new quality productive forces."
